~Per Catherine & Bertha, Aug. 3, 2003: Georgia babysat Bertha and Catherine when their mother, Angelina, was in the hospital. Catherine's father asked if she knew had to cook a chicken and she said yes. When he came home, there was a terrible smell with the chicken parts cooking. He threw the chicken out, went back to the store and brought home food to feed the family.

~In Feb. 1994, Amanda Costas (Costianes) Moore wrote a letter to Carol Petranek. About this family, she said, "I thought Katina Theothousiou had more than 7 children but your mother should know. I remember visiting them as a child. I especially liked Georgia who had lovely red hair and was several years older. We lost contact with them but when I was in high school I remembered that Georgia worked for a bank in New York City and I went to the bank to talk to her. When I asked for her word came back that she did not have a cousin in New Jersey. Being very young and naive I started to give details about my life to prove who I was but Georgia was adamant that she did not know me. I never saw her -- I talked to one of the tellers at one of the windows. It was a devastating experience for me. How sad that people act the way they do."
