Panagiotis Efstathios Koniditsiotis
(1875 - 1955)
Name from Panorea Kostakos, July 2016, Agios Ioannis, Sparta, Laconia to Carol Petranek. He was in the U.S. a couple of times; he came back to Greece to fight in World War I, then returned. From the Amykles book, obtained by Carol Petranek in July 2016 in Amykles: "1875-195, Panagiotis Koniditsiotis, one of the first residents who migrated abroad."
Eleni Kostakos said her father had lived in Texas for 10 years. He made very little money and returned to Greece. Did she mean her grandfather?
From Panorea Kostakos - Aug 1 2016. As for the Koniditsiotis family, their original name was Anagnostopoulos and those who moved to Amykles were related. Maragas was the "nickname" of my grandmother's Panagiota family. Their actual name is Anastasakos from Anogeia.
