In 1963, Nick and his family moved from Richfield Park,New Jersey, to Los Angeles, California.His oldest son, Louis, became very sick with a heart murmurand the doctor suggested moving him out West. Members of Connie's family had been gradually moving to California, and after a visit there Connie suggested they move also.
