Death
FURR, William Roger, 76, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, at a Montgomery hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., from the Church of God of Prophecy, 3008 Red Bud Court, Montgomery, AL. Mr. Furr was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Jane Furr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Edith Furr; two daughters, Patricia Abrams and Tammy (Jay) Cheatum; one son, Michael (Eleanor) Sasser; eleven grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; one brother, James (Barbara) Furr; and several extended family members.
