Death

FURR, Pamela Jane, 54, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died peacefully at home on Sunday, May 6, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Church of God of Prophecy, 3008 Red Bud Court, Montgomery, AL. Ms. Furr was a devoted mother and grandmother who was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Bernie Davis, and grandmother, Bessie Furr. She is survived by one daughter, Leara Smith and her father, Lee Smith, both of Warner Robbins, GA; three sons, Jason Mardis, Millbrook, AL, Gregory Bigham and Mike Sasser, both of Montgomery, AL; four grandchildren, Jordan Mardis, Brittany Sasser, Tylan Sasser, and Michael Sasser, Jr.; her parents, Edith and Roger Furr, Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Patricia Abrams and Tammy Cheatum, both of Montgomery, AL; and one grandfather, O.C. Furr, Highland Home, AL.
