Death
William M. Furr, 78 years of age, died from the effects of a paralytic stroke at his home here in North Albemarle Monday morning at one o'clock. He suffered the stroke several days ago which resulted in his death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock at Canton church and interment was made in the church cemetery. Mr. Furr was well known in his community here and had many friends. Besides his wife he is survived by several children.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, May 1, 1928
