Death
Services for Grover Franklin Furr, 78, were held at St. Luke Lutheran Church. He married Ruth Bernhardt on 26 September 1936. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, past Sunday school teacher, member of Lutheran Layman's League, served on the Board of Directors for Fort Belknap Electric Co-op for 42 years. He was past member of the board of Brazos Transmission in Waco serving for five years. He had lived in Olney all of his life. Survived by his wife; two sons - Franklin Furr of Winamac, IN and Edward Furr of Olney; one daughter - Thelma Cannon of Dumas; one sister - Adele Robinson of Wichita Falls; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.Endnotes
