Death

Novella Furr Love CONCORD -- Mrs. Love's physical healing came in death's sleep on December 25, 2009. She was 83 years old. Funeral will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 27 at 2 p.m. with interment immediately following at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 73 East. Family will be at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, to receive friends on Saturday, December 26th from 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Grady S. Love and two children, Donald S. Love and Sandra Love Sossamon. She is survived by three children, Larry Douglas Love, Ann Love Richard, and Jerry Grady Love; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Love was born September 28, 1926 to Floyd and Zula Furr of Stanfield, NC. She was a homemaker, Sunday School Teacher, dedicated Christian, church worker, and a member of New Life Church of Jesus Christ who loved the Lord and served Him since childhood. Family and friends will be meeting at the home of her son, Larry D. Love. The family wishes to express special thanks to Karen, the Hospice Chaplin; Dora, Mrs. Love's CNA; Tabatha, her nurse; Marie, her social worker; and to all of the staff at Hospice Tucker House. Also, much gratitude to the caregivers at Carebridge in Mt. Pleasant, NC, who were so cognizant not only of Mrs. Love's need, but also the needs of her family members.
