Death

CONCORD - Eunice Love Hartman, 82, formerly of Harrisburg and spent her last years at Best of Care Rest Home in Kannapolis, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2007 at Avante of Concord, after a long period of declining health. Funeral service will be private and burial will take place at Roberta United Methodist Church in Concord at a later date. She was born March 25, 1925 to the late Dolph Brown Love and the late Minnie Miller Love. Born and raised in Harrisburg, Mrs. hartman graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1945. She then went to work in Lenoir as a civilian recruiter for the Quartermaster Corps. She moved to Atlanta, Ga. to work for RCA-Victor for 30 years and then retired as executive secretary to the general manager. Eunice then helped open and operate 101 Computer Co., where she sold and installed computers to the Pentagon. She moved back to this area 13 years ago from Smyrna, Ga. She was a member of the Humane Society. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hartman is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Floyd Hartman, who passed in 1995, and a brother, Cronie D. Love, and a sister, Nell Alice Love. Mrs. Hartman is survived by five sisters, Yvonne L. Furr, and husband, Henry, of Concord, Margie L. Talbert of Concord, Sally L. Hunsucker, and husband Paul, of Charlotte, Rachel L. Furr of Concord, and Peggy L. Taylor of Concord; two brothers, D.B. Love, Jr., and wife Betty, of Concord, and Donald W. Love, and wife Betty, of Harrisburg; and her special pet dog, Cleo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County, P.O.
