Death
Allen Monroe Carpenter, 53, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Atrium-Cabarrus. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Allen was born in Cabarrus County, July 13, 1969 to the late Calvin and Janice Fisher Carpenter. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Carpenter and sisters Sherry Bowers and Donna Hobbs. In his spare time, he was an avid motorcycle rider. He loved his club and his club brothers. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything outdoors. He was always the life of the party and loved hanging out with his friends. He had a big heart and was always willing to do for others. His contagious smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by daughters Amber Carpenter, Jessica Carpenter, Heather Carpenter; adopted son Eddie Lowery; grandchildren, Maya Furr, Angel Furr, Chase Furr, Bella Furr, Levi Lowery, Hayli Lowery, Lynlee Lowery, Zoie Lowery, Timothy Lowery, Stormee Lowery, Noah Gant; sister Rebecca Carpenter Furr; Aunt Fannie Mae Stegall; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
