Death
Services were held Tuesday at the Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel for Judson Howard Furr Sr., 77, Kansas City, North, who died Friday, Aug. 14, at Humana Hospital, Overland Park. Furr was born in Brookhaven, Miss., and lived in the Kansas City area since 1957. He was a storekeeper at the Bendix Corp. for 18 years before he retired. He was a member of the Winnwood Baptist Church, He was a Mason. Surviving are two sons, Larry Furr, Raymore, and Howard Furr Jr., Grandview; a daughter, LaNeal Skinner, Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. P.E. Downey, Petal, Miss., and Mrs. T.R. Boyd, McComb, Miss.: and seven grandchildren. Burial was in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.The Star-Herald, Belton, Missouri, August 20, 1987
