Death

Mr. William "Butch" Dewey Ghent, 56, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Camden. He was born August 2, 1955 in Lancaster, a son of Peggy F. Ghent and the late Rev. Grady C. Ghent. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ghent will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 2 pm at Catawba Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Parker and the Rev. Gene Ghent officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mr. Ghent is survived by his wife, Debbie Ghent of Lancaster; a son, Billy Cole Ghent and his wife, Heather of Lancaster; two daughters, Alicia Terry and her husband, James of Heath Springs and Kimberly Waits and her husband, Robert of Lancaster; his mother, Peggy F. Ghent of Lancaster; a brother, Rev. Gene Ghent and his wife, Carol of Lancaster; a sister, Cheryl G. McAbee and her husband, Tommy of Union, SC; and four grandchildren, Anthony Terry, Colby Waits, Kylie Waits and Grayson Ghent.
