CANADYS — Services for Bernice Bailey Furr will be held at 2 p.m. today in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Fred Parker Funeral Home of Walterboro is in charge. Memorials may be made to Providence United Methodist Church. Mrs. Furr, wife of the late Rev. H.E. Furr, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1992. Born in Colleton County, she was a daughter of Chesley and Margaret Susan Busch Bailey. She was a member of the Order of Easter Star and Providence United Methodist Church, where she was pianist for 20 years. Surviving are a son, Marshall Furr of Columbia; a daughter, Hermione Carter of Columbia; a sister, Margaret Wise of West Hill, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, December 24, 1992
