FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Evelyn Ralston, 66, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013. She is survived by her husband, retired Sgt. Maj. David Ralston; sons, David Ralston Jr. (Lorraine Ralston) of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Lt. Col. Robert Lenn Ralston (Joanie Ralston) of Lake Mary, Fla.; daughters, Tammy McGuire (retired Sgt. Maj. Joe McGuire) of Pinehurst, and Pamela Jones (Sgt. Maj. Christopher Jones) of Winchester, Va; brother, Ted Furr of Charlotte; and eight grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at the funeral home.
