Death
WAKE FOREST — Tommy Ross Furr, 58, of 362 W. Cedar Ave., died March 31, 1996, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday In the Bright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7- 8:30 p.m. today at Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. He was born in Charlotte, NC, son of the late Leonard Walter and Polly Helms Furr. He was a warehouse manager in Hat manufacturing. Mr. Furr is survived by his wife, Carolyn H. Furr, daughters, Elaine Schrott of Clayton and Lenora Furr of Cary; son, Tommy Furr of Wake Forest; sisters, Evelyn Ralston of Fayetteville and Ruby Smith of Augusta, GA; brother, Ted Furr of Charlotte; grandson, Zachery Schrott of Clayton. He was preceded in death by a brother, C.V. Furr. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Wake County Unit, 620 W.
