Death
Mr. Louis Furr, age 60, of Pineville, NC, died March 2, 1982 at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday at the Pineville Church of the Nazarene with the minister, the Rev. Max Murphy, officiating. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park, Pallbearers will be Deputy Sheriffs from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff Department. Mr. Furr was born October 20, 1921 in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Albert G. Furr and Ada Drye Furr. He was a retired Welding Supervisor. He attended Pineville Church of the Nazarene, Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anarah Sharpe Furr; one son, Louis F. Furr of Pineville; six brothers, Richmond Furr of Chester, SC, Dewey, James and Ralph Furr, all of Ft. Mill, SC, Floyd and Ray Furr, both of Charlotte; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Whitmire of Charleston, SC, Mrs. Lucille Stewart and Mrs. Laura Merritt, both of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Louis B, Furr and Angelique Furr, both of Pineville.
