Death
Mr. Homer W. Furr, 78, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Quinton, died suddenly Saturday, January 14, 1989. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Alice Coates and Karen E. Dempsey; one son, Mercer M. Furr; two brothers, Murray B. and Eugene B.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of Tampa, Fla. Remains rest at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.Wednesday. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Washington Memorial Park.Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richmond, Virginia, January 16, 1989
