Death
John Edgar Furr, 77, of Pascagoula, died Monday at Singing River Hospital. A retired plumbing contractor and owner of E-Z Plumbing Company was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula. He had lived locally for 35 years, coming from Jackson. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alyeen P. Furr of Pascagoula; two sons, Royce C. Furr of Gautier and Jerry Furr of San Francisco; a daughter, Margaret Baffelon of Danville, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received today from 6 to 0 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula where service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs.Sun Herald, Biloxi, Mississippi, 18 August 1981
