STANFIELD - Kay Frances Yow Furr, of 4309 B Yow Road, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at CMC-Main. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Friday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. At other times, they will meet at the home. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Dr. Rev. Darrell Nance officiating. Mrs. Furr was born Oct 18, 1945, in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Carl Columbus Yow "Tom" and the late Lura Bell Hinson Yow. She was a member of Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, Stanfield. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Edward Furr of the home; son, Jeffrey Edward Furr and wife, Bobbie, of Oakboro; daughters, Kimberly (Furr) Pennington of Stanfield and Sharon Furr of Concord; brother, Ken Yow of Norwood; seven grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
