Thomas Edward Furr, 66, of 4309 Yow Road, Stanfield, NC passed away January 30, 2010, at 189 Rosehaven Court, Concord, NC. Mr. Furr was born June 27, 1943 in Cabarrus County to the late Grady Furr and the late Irene Pinion Furr. He was a supervisor at SRM, Inc. He attended Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Frances Yow Furr. Survivors include his son- Jeff Furr and his wife Barbara of Oakboro, daughters- Sharon Furr and her friend Michael Foster of Concord, Kim Pennington and her fiancé Donnie Russell of Charlotte, sisters- Judy Leigh of Texas, Sue Rushing of Harrisburg, Linda Barbee of Midland, Marie Chapman of Concord, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC.Endnotes
