Billie Jean Furr Kelbaugh CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Kelbaugh, 85, of Charlotte passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015, at home. She was born to Emma Huneycutt and Rufus L. Furr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Calvin S. Kelbaugh, Sr. Bille Jean was a long time member of Eastway Baptist Church in Charlotte. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She spent many years working with her husband in his business and then as a full-time mother. She was there for all children who came home with her children and grandchildren. Survivors are two children: Scott Kelbaugh and wife Holly, Donna Kelbaugh Quales and husband Art; grandchildren Matt Quales, Marcus Quales, Hailey Kelbaugh and Kayln Kelbaugh; sister, Peggy Burleson; and a brother Malcolm Furr. The family will receive family and friends atEastway Baptist Church from 10 to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 with a service to follow at 11:00 A. M. conducted by Reverend Michael Owens and Reverend Johnny Helms. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Charlotte or Eastway Baptist Church.
