Death
ASHEBORO —David Ray Furr, 52, of Asheboro, died July 14th, at his home. He was born December 26, 1960, to Daniel and Maybell Furr. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sue Cross; and one brother, Donnie Cooper. Surviving is his fiancé, Norma Dees, of the home; two sons, Walker Furr, of the home, Jody Furr, Florida; one daughter, Sheree Furr, Carolina Beach; one granddaughter; three sisters, Joann Stevenson, Asheboro, Patsy Thornton, Pleasant Garden, Becky Mill, Biscoe; one brother, Daniel Furr Jr., Durham; and several nieces and nephews.
