Death
BOILING SPRINGS, SC-- Daniel Clayton Furr, 68, of 99 Hilldale Drive, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2006, at his home. He was the widower of Misao Kania Furr, who passed away in 2000. Mr. Furr was a native of Lexington, NC, was a son of the late Clayton G. and Mary Bell Furr, and was a retired driver for Watkins Trucking. He was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the NRA. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Kenneth Green of Wellford, SC; one sister, Mary Ann Westbrook of Lexington, NC; one brother, Jimmy Smith of Lexington, NC; as well as four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Larry Furr, who died in 2001. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2006, at Eggers Funeral Chapel. Rev. Terry Pleasant will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.Endnotes
