Death
Richard Ray Furr, six-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Furr, 2629 Rose St., died early today in a local hospital after an illness of three days. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 P. M, at Glenwood ARP Church. The Rev. Harris Blair, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Survivors include the parents; two brothers, Bryan and Johnny Furr of the home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Miller of Charlotte and Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Furr of Indian Trail. The body will be taken from McEwen Funeral Home to the church tomorrow at 1:30 P. M. to lie in state until the hour of the service.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, July 7, 1952
