Henry Bryan Furr CHARLOTTE - Bryan Furr, 74, born September 8, 1939, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014, at the Golden Living Center. He was born in Charlotte, N.C. on September 8, 1939, to the late Henry Sloan Furr and Mary Mullis Furr. He was a 1957 graduate of Harding High School, marrying Jeanette Wood also from Harding. They have two sons, Richard who is married to Marites who has one son, Mateo; and Bryan, Jr., who is married to Jule Matthews; they have one son, Christian, and one daughter, Jordan. After his retirement as a real estate broker, Bryan, spent many peaceful hours with a fishing rod in his hand. Left to cherish his memories are Jeanette, who remained faithful, taking care of Bryan through sickness and pain; his two sons and their families; a brother, Johnny and his wife, Beverly; three sisters and their families, Brenda Watson and her husband, Stan, Sandee Kiser and Tammy Coyle and her husband, Peter, and other nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 920 N. Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC. on Sunday, February 9th at 2:00 pm.
