Death
Monroe, Feb. 17. — Mrs. N. B. Ayers died suddenly at her home on the Griffith road last night at 11:45 o'clock. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at the home with Rev. A. L. Stanford of Lincolnton, a former pastor, Rev. W. R. Kelly and Rev. J. T. Wayland in charge. Burial will be made in the Monroe cemetery. Mrs. Ayers, wife of a prominent Monroe groceryman, was 58 years old. Before her marriage she was Miss Emma Furr. She its survived by her husband and the following children: Mesdames E. C. Helms and C. A. Kirk both of Charlotte; Mrs. E. C. Knight, of Norfolk, Va.; Floyd Aver of Charlotte, Walter Ayers, and Mesdames T. C. Collins and C. B.
