Death
Mrs. Patricia Furr Reece, 38, of 10601 E. Independence Blvd., No. 221, died Monday as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday at McEwen Funeral Home, Mint Hill Chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Reece was employed by Southern Bell for 19 years until transferring to AT&T in 1983. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a Hanover County native. Survivors are husband, Marvin; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olen Furr of Stanley; brother, Olen Furr Jr.; sister, Mrs. Debbie Warlick of Stanley; stepson, Clinton Reece of Matthews; stepdaughter, Ms. Shalene Reece of Matthews. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen of Mint Hill.Endnotes
