Death
NORWOOD — Mr. Reece Jackson Furr, 79, retired furniture company owner and operator, died Aug. 3, 1988, at Swan Ridge Nursing Home. Funeral is 1 p.m. today at Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Carmen; son, Roger Furr of Charlotte; sisters, Mrs. Nelma Ammons of Charlotte, Mrs. Fronie Kirk of Kannapolis, Mrs. Ruth Mullis of Albemarle, Mrs. Hazel Cooper, both of Albemarle, Mrs. Cornell Rogers of Oakboro. Edwards is in charge.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, August 5, 1988
