Death
CONCORD Mrs. Mary Ann Furr Allman, 70, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Atrium Health-NorthEast. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, June 14, in the Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Joey Spry. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, June 14, prior to the service. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park, Saturday, June 15, at 10 a.m. Mrs. Allman was born July 8, 1948, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., to the late Joe Hartsell Furr and Mary Randolph Furr. Mary was a member of Fisher Street Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. She had retired from Cannon Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Allman. Mary is survived by her daughters, Jodi Allman of Concord and Brandi Colby of Charlotte; son, Charlie Allman of Concord; and four grandchildren.Endnotes
