GOLD HILL - Joseph John "Johnnie"Furr, 49, Morgan Road, died Thursday (March 15, 2001), at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. His father, Joe H. Furr, preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Mary Randock Furr; daughter Misty Marie Furr; sons Joe Henry and Tom Lee Furr; sisters Kathy Davis of Gold Hill, Frances Gray of Rockwell and Mary Ann Allman of Concord; and one grandchild. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord. Burial, Sunset Cemetery, Kannapolis. Visitation: 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of a nephew, Gary Davis, 855 Morgan Road.Endnotes
