Death
Mrs. Frankie Smith Furr of 508 School, 88, widow of Henry D. Furr, died this morning at her home. Mrs. Furr had lived in Cleveland most of her life and in Clarksdale for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Emmanual Baptist Church in Cleveland and the Eastern Star. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at New Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland. The Rev. James Hurt will officiate. McNeil Funeral Home is in charge. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Teresa Campassi of Clarksdale and Mrs. Margaret Everett of Sumter, S.C.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Patricia Russell of Clarksdale, Robert H. Campassi Jr. of Abbeville, La., and Master Sgt. James D. Everett of Robins Air Force Base, Ga.; and three great- grandchildren.The Clarksdale Press Register, Clarksdale, Mississippi, October 28, 1982
