Death
Mrs. A. G. Conn, Sr., age 55, died this afternoon at 4:15 at a local hospital after an illness of several months. She was a resident of 4203 Wainwright Ave., and a member of Parkway Baptist church. She is survived by her husband, Albert G. Conn, Sr.; one son, Albert G. Conn Jr.; six daughters, Mrs. Lucille Schwartz, of Philadelphia, Pa, Mrs. Ruth Goings, Mrs. Bobbye Stubblefield, Mrs. Jane McDaniel, Mrs. Jo Ann Rushing, and Miss Jackie Conn, all of Jackson; three brothers, S. G. Furr & B. H. Furr, both of Hollandale, and H. G. Furr of Arcola, and three sisters, Mrs. E. H. Jones, of Patterson, Mrs. J. F. Bates, of Mississippi City, and Mrs. Ethel Bruster, San Pedro, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 Saturday from Baldwin chapel, with Dr. G. Norman Price officiating.
