Death
Albert James Furr, aged 64, of Route 2, North Little Rock, who had been a locomotive fireman with the Kansas City Southern Lines for 27 yeas, died Monday at a Little Rock hospital. He was a Methodist and had been a resident of North Little Rock for 13 years since his retirement from the railroad. Survivors include two sons, Albert B. Furr of Oklahoma City and James A. Furr of Tulsa; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Robson and Mrs. Ollie Tunnicliff, both of Fort Smith, and a grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Friday at National Cemetery by Rev. Glenn Harbin. Pallbearers will be Maurice Oyler, W. H. Smith, Lee Ilaymes, John Ingle, R. I. Stipe and Martin E Stipe. Burial will be by Owens and Co.Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, May 5, 1961
