Death
James A. Furr, 58, of 2662S. 90th East Ave., died Tuesday. Services are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Will Rogers United Methodist with burial at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Eastlawn Funeral Home. Furr was a supervisor of the pipeline marketing department with the Warren Petroleum Co., where he had worked for 35 years. He was a graduate of Central High School and the University of Oklahoma. He was a member of the Will Rogers United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ann Furr; two sons, Jim Furr of Norman and Jeff Furr of Tulsa; a brother, Albert B. Furr and his mother, Mrs. Emma Furr, both of Las Vegas, Nev. Friends are contributing to the youth fund of the Will Rogers United Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.Tulsa World, Tulsa, Oklahoma, November 4, 1982
