Death
Nettie Ethel Jones, of San Antonio, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2005 at the age of 104. She was born on September 15, 1900, in Cherry Ridge, Arkansas to S.L. and Etta Furr. Ethel enjoyed trail drives and loved dancing. She was a member of the Sons of Hermann, Vineta Lodge #15. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Fenton Jones, daughter, Norma Earlene Claytt and son, Donald Wayne Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Cloyetta Handley; sons, Harold Ray Jones and James G. Jones and his wife Martha; sister, Myrtle Manzinares and seven grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. SERVICES Visitation will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South on Thursday, July 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held in the Lytle Community Cemetery on Friday, July 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Mission Park Funeral Chapels South.Published by San Antonio Express-News on Jul. 21, 2005
