Death
Services for Mrs. Dora Ada Helms, mother of Chester Helms of Charlotte, who died at her home in Goose Creek Township, Monroe, yesterday afternoon after an illness of a week, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Antioch Baptist Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. Surviving, besides her son in Charlotte, are two other sons, four daughters, and two sisters.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, January 14, 1949
