Death
Kerrville (SC) – Mrs. Eva Merritt, 78, of Hunt died Thursday in Colonial Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kerrville Funeral Home with burial in Hunt Cemetery. Mrs. Merritt was born Feb 23, 1898, in Hunt, where she was a life-long resident. She was a member of Hunt Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Loyd Merritt of Hunt; one daughter, Mrs. Josie Kendall of Ingram; three sons, Loyd Merritt Jr., W. H, Merritt and Cecil Merritt, all of Hunt; one brother, Calvin Furr of Hunt; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.San Angelo Standard-Times, San Angelo, Texas, January 21, 1977
