Death
Mrs. Charles (Minnie Pearl) Brooks 76, of Ingram, died at her home Sunday. Funeral services were Tuesday morning in the Chapel of the Plummer-Fair Funeral Home with Rev. Day officiating. Interment was in the Hunt Cemetery. A lifetime resident of Kerr County, Mrs. Brooks was the widow of former Kerr County Commissioner Charles Brooks. She was a Baptist. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Voges, Mrs. Hazel Bryan and Mrs. Irene Williamson, all of Ingram and Mrs. Mineola Voges and Mrs. Betty Jean Brown, both of Kenedy; a brother, Calvin Furr of Hunt; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Merritt of Hunt; 22 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.Kerrville Mountain Sun, Kerrville, Texas, November 16, 1972
