Death

Warren Lane Ferguson, 83, husband of Myra Robbins Ferguson, of Mountain Rest, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at his home. Born in Mecklenburg, NC, Mr. Ferguson was the son of the late Isaac Otto and Ora Pauline Furr Ferguson. He retired from Wateree Construction and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Ferguson loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was known for his honesty and was a loving husband and family man. In addition to his wife, Mr. Ferguson is survived by his son: Anthony Lane Ferguson (Yoonkyung); daughter: Camie Ferguson McCord (fiancé Joey O'Kelley); grandchildren: Chase Ward (Courtney), Leslie Ferguson, Dustin Ferguson, Destiny Miller (Ross), Molly Ferguson, Rachel McCord Ellenburg (Ethan), Warren McCord, Sarah McCord, Shealy McCord Bilbruck (Daniel), Andrew McCord, Isaac McCord, and Allie McCord; and great-grandchildren: Silas, Wyatt, Camden, Lainey, Blair, River, Jonah, and Layla. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is at their respective homes.
