Death

Mr. David Beldin Austin -- born March 6, 1954, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005. He was a native of Mobile and a graduate of Auburn University School of Forestry. He was well respected in his field of forestry and land management. David worked for over twenty years as the procurement manager for Buchanan Lumber, Mobile, AL. He then expanded his career becoming a self employed forester and continuing to do the work he loved. Mr. Austin is survived by his wife, Lisa G. Austin; son, David Beldin Austin, Jr.; daughter, Anna Leah Austin, all of Fairhope, AL; mother, Helen Furr Austin; brother, Philip Gendron Austin, III, both of Mobile, AL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services and interment were held on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. A Celebration of Life Service followed at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
