Jason loved spending time outdoors, both home and away, and especially at Black Mountain and North Myrtle Beach. He also enjoyed good music and played the guitar. He mastered the art of glassblowing and made many cool pieces for family and friends. Jason s greatest love was his family. He and his wife, Shana Morton had three beautiful children, sons Seth and Drew Whisonant and his sweet girl, Layla Whisonant. In addition to his wife and children, Jason is survived by his mother, Susan Whisonant, brothers Danny and Chad Whisonant, sister Heather Whisonant and special niece Hayley Whisonant. He is also survived by his mother in love, Sheryl Morton, many nephews, and his wife s family who held a special place in his heart. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6th from 6-7:30 pm at Greene Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel at 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
