Death
Mrs. Cora Lee Moyle Furr, 76, of 210 Bogan Avenue, Albemarle, a retired homemaker, died at 9:15 a.m. Monday in Stanly Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. Rev. George Grissom will officiate and interment will be in Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Furr was a daughter of the late Duncan and Eliza Russell Moyle and was born March 13, 1908, in Stanly County. She was married to Isaac Franklin Furr, who preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons, Hoyle Moyle of Concord, Everette Franklin Furr of the home, Kenneth Furr of Albemarle, and Cleevie Furr of Route 2, New London; two daughters Ms. Patsy Morton of Raleigh and Ms. Ricki Furr of Albemarle; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body will remain at Hartsell Funeral Home where friends may visit the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, April 3, 1984
