Eugene Perry CALES
(2 Sep 1916 - 3 Nov 1918)
After a week's illness of Spanish influenza and pneumonia, Eugene Cales, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cales, of Columbus, died suddenly, early Sunday morning, at the home of Owen Cales, 1802 Eight Street. Although the little fellow had been ill a week, his condition was not considered serious and his death came as a great shock to his parents. The child was two years and tow months old, and came here with his parents, to visit his uncle, Owen Cales, when he was taken ill. The body will be shipped to Mt. Zion, Ky., for burial.
