Death
Searcy, June 17. -- Floyd Furr, 30, a farmer of England, died yesterday when his car went out of control on a curve a mile east of nearby Higginson on state Highway 11. State Police said the car rolled over several times and Furr was thrown from the automobile. Survivors include is wife, Mrs. Maggline Wise Furr; three sons, Phillip Ray Furr, Larry Lee Furr and Bobby Ray Furr, all of England; two daughters, Charlotte Ann Furr and Treca Furr, both of England, his father, Jim Furr of England; two brothers, Leroy Furr and Jessie Furr, both of North Little Rock; a half brother, Ernest Furr with the Army in Texas, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Tew of Galloway, Mrs. Betty Jean Criner and Miss Opal Furr, both of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Pearl Bennham of California. Funeral will be 3 p. m. Tuesday at the Wilson Funeral Chapel, at England. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery.Endnotes
