Salt Lake City – Mary Lu Furr, 27, 3603 Elmwood St. (1955 E.) and former Utah County resident -- died of natural causes Saturday in a Salt Lake hospital. She was bron June 30, 1939 in Murray, a daughter of Cecil R. and Lucile Hawkins Furr. She obtained her education in Springville schools and the Brigham Young University. She was alao employed in Provo for several years. She was a member of the Valley View First LDS Ward, Salt Lake City. She is survived by her parents, Salt Lake City; two sister, Cecilia Furr, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. David (Mimi) Stimpson of Provo; a grandmother, Mary C. Furr, Mesa, Ariz. Funeral services will be held Wednesday noon at the Valley View First Ward Chapel, 3900-20th E., where friends call one hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.The Daily Herald, Provo, Utah, September 12, 1966
