Death
Mrs. Ada B. Crotwell, 77, of 7327 Egypt Pike, died unexpectedly 6:15 a.m. June 16 at her daughter’s home in Maumee. She was born Nov. 9, 1906, in Bessemer, Ala., to Charles and Emma Ogden Furr. She was married Nov. 5, 1924 to George Crotwell who died in 1974. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Rachel Martin, Chillicothe, Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Ebanks, Grand Cayman, B.W.I., and Mrs. James (Shirley) Olmstead, Maumee; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was predeceased a sister and three brothers. Mrs. Crotwell was a Member of Eastern Star Chapter 419, the Dry Run United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women. Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Fawcett-Oliver and Glass Funeral Home with Rev. James Sands officiating. Burial will follow in Moulton Memorial Gardens, Moulton, Ala. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Tuesday until time of service.
