Death
Frances Furr Wesley lost a courageous struggle with cancer on March 30, 2010 at WakeMed. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her son Robert II, her daughter-in-law Margaret, her granddaughter Constance, her sister Chellie, and her brother Les. Fran was born in Washington DC on August 17, 1937. She taught English in Miami, Florida for seven years, and assisted Bob in managing a family-owned corporation for thirty five years. She was a wonderful mother, who actively participated in cub scouts as a den mother. Fran competed with Bob in archery, and won the Florida husband and wife state archery championship. Memorial services will be held at Christ United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 2. Family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate Fran’s life.
