Death
CONCORD Mr. John Ira Furr Jr., 58, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 7, at Wilkinson Funeral Home. John was born Sept. 5, 1958, in Concord, to the late John Ira Furr Sr. and Ruby Dover Furr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had worked for many years at Furr's Painting. He is survived by his sister, Pinky Honeycutt; two nieces; two nephews; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; and three great-great-nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516. Wilkinson Funeral Home is handling arrangements for the Furr family.Endnotes
