Death

Audrey Kathleen Smith, 90, went home to Heaven on March 14, 2015 at Park Place Nursing Home in Monroe, Ga. She was born to Loyd Elford and Lucille Furr Jones on May 9, 1924. She was a retired employee of Carnation Co. and other local manufacturers. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church. Services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00AM at Longview Baptist Church with Rev. George Steward and Rev. Clyde Pound officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery. Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Billy Moon of Lawrenceville, GA; 1 granddaughter-Kayla Caldwell and 1 great grandson-Hunter Caldwell both of Pontotoc; 2 sisters-Elizabeth Jaggers of Pontotoc and Marie Jones of Algoma; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers-Leroy Jones and Loyd Junior Jones and 2 nephews-Darrell Wayne Jones and Charlie Sappington. Pallbearers will be William E. Jaggers, James Allen Jones, Michael Jaggers, Scott Crane, Jonathan Wray, Lee Warren and Justin Mask. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17th from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Condolences may be shared at www.baldwinnowellfh.com/admin
