Death
CHESTER, S. C. — Jimmy Ray Furr, 7, was killed Saturday when a station wagon driven by his sister, Brenda Furr, skidded off the highway 10 miles northwest of here and smashed into an embankment. His nine-year-old brother, Sam Furr, was reported seriously injured. He was taken to Chester County Hospital. Miss Furr was unhurt.CHESTER—Jimmie Ray Furr, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Baxter E. Furr, died early Saturday morning from injuries received in an automobile accident. Surviving in addition to his parents are his maternal grandmother, Mrs, Clara Perry of Lowrys; two brothers, Sam B. and Michael E. Furr of the home, and four sisters, Brenda Ann, Barbara Jean, Betty Sue and Clara Darlene Furr, all of the home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at the home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Wright’s Home for Funerals is in charge.
